Social Mobility Day 2024 is on 13th June 2024. Social Mobility Day exists to promote wider conversations about social mobility and to encourage action that brings about positive change. Social mobility creates a more equal and fair society. Details at https://socialmobilityday.com/

This seminar organised by University of Exeter on Social Mobility Day 2024 might be of interest.

This event, which is on the topic of economic background and social mobility, will be held on Thursday the 13th June between 2pm and 4:30 pm. This seminar will include talks from Prof. Lee Elliot Major and Dr. Lucy Yeomans, on their lived experiences and their work on class and economic background as barriers which still persist in academia, and wider society.
