Hi Raffaele,<br>
I suggest the starting point for training documentation should be
the Quickstarts. They are probably the right length and depth for a
90 minute course split between multiple projects.<br>
I agree that you would be able to cover all of them. Maybe 4 to 6.<br>
<br>
The bonus of using the quickstarts directly will be that you have a
the chance to update the OSGeo-Live material directly, which will
improve the quality of OSGeo-Live.<br>
<br>
Material here:<br>

href="http://live.osgeo.org/en/overview/overview.html">http://live.osgeo.org/en/overview/overview.html</a><br>
<br>
I'd suggest also watch the current discussion about OGC Standards
and training. (Copying email from Luis below)<br>

Dear Cameron,

<div class="">thanks for your email. I suggest to publish all the
short-course material under a copyleft license, if possible. I
think this decision should be taken by all the authors of the

However, I suggest you to give us comments and suggestions on

I'm interested from an OSGeo-Live perspective, in
regards to the generation and collection of material for

What are your thoughts on the material generated?<br

Are you wanting to make it generally available under an

Are you considering basing upon OSGeo-Live Quickstarts?<br

<div class="">Dear all,<br class="">
in the last weeks, it is emerging the possibility
for OSGeo group to propose a short course at EGU (<font
class="" size="2"><span
style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"
class=""><span class="" lang="EN-US">European
Geosciences Union)</span></span></font>
General Assembly 2016 in Vienna (17-22th April).
The course of approximately 90 minutes should be
based on OSGeo Live package. It could ba a great
possibility to disseminate the OSGeo approach in
EGU community. <br class="">
</div>
<div class=""> This email is a call to search for
who willing this workshop. Hence, we ask to
receive candidatures of persons that can be in
person at EGU16 to take the course.<br class="">
