<div>the Local Organisation Committee of the FOSS4G-Europe conference is happy to announce a partnership with the
<a href="https://scholarworks.umass.edu/foss4g/" target="_blank" title="https://scholarworks.umass.edu/foss4g/" rel="nofollow" id="LPlnk225296" class="OWAAutoLink" previewremoved="true">
FOSS4G Academic Track system</a> to publish and archive its academic proceedings. This system has heretofore hosted the proceedings of the international FOSS4G conference, and starts this year hosting regional conferences.<br>

<div>The LOC further informs that outstanding contributions to the FOSS4G-Europe 2018 academic track shall be invited to submit an extended article to later feature in a special issue of the

Data</a> journal.<br>
