[geomoose-psc] GeoMoose Press release

Well, there is one for GeoMoose at OSGeo already, but I find it hard to organize stuff there. It’s not obvious at all how to search for only GeoMoose stuff in it. We also have the existing one that wiki.geomoose.org could/should point at.

Thoughts on adding a wiki.geomoose.org<http://wiki.geomoose.org> too?

Actually, I fixed IE8, I need to spend some cuddle time with IE10. I should really get a win8 machine or tablet.

I think we’re good to move to new site design.

This does bring up a point though about compatibility. Is there a browser compatibility page somewhere already that lists these supported browsers? Possibly a Wiki page?

I might have missed something, but last I heard, Duck fixed it for Chrome and IE 10 but IE 8 needs more work.

I am OK with that if others are. (Personally, I think it is ridiculous to still be worried about IE 8. WinXP and IE 8 are ancient and the additional code and effort to support them adds complexity and takes away from what we could otherwise do with up to date browsers. GeoMoose doesn't work on my Mac SE or C64 either, but I don't see that holding up releases.)

Jim put the website in what I think is a passable condition, thanks much for that. I'm fine with a press release. Other's thoughts?

Since issue #6 with the demo seems to be fixed should I instruct Frank to do the OSGEO press release or hold off until the website is switch is complete?
