We are able to spend the funds however we'd like but we definitely need to spend them or they will become unavailable. I would like to use some or all of that funding as a bootstrap for GeoMoose 4.0. What would other members of the PSC like to see which would make that practical? A scope of work, if so how detailed? I'm open to various ideas on how to do this the right way. Also, anyone have suggestions for a platform which would allow doing a demo? I've got some work put into the concepts for GM4 and would love to show it to folks as a better way to get an idea of where I think we should head. In past major upgrades, that's come in two varieties: 1) driven by updates in or replacements in underlying libraries (OpenLayers, Dojo, jquery, React, etc, etc.) and 2) major additions (or restorations) of functionality. As part of the scoping, we should decide what type of version advance this is and what realm we're operating in. We should also evaluate the greater geospatial context. I'm fairly happy with GeoMoose functionality, the niche filled, and positioning within the greater geospatial tech environment. One thing that might be worth discussing is hosting- self hosting is becoming more rare. As far as the logistics of a meeting including a demo (is text/irc not the obvious choice for a demo?), I think that most of us can probably find a way to work with most platforms (zoom, google meeting, Teams, Jitsi, etc). We might want to schedule more time for this so that we're able to have full discussions. If this adds confusion, we can ignore it (cost was free anyway ha). The GeoMoose rooms on IRC and Matrix are linked now anyway, so conversation is seamless - choose either method you wish. Yes am aware that the log link bounces to a broken link, not sure why yet...anyway until today we had no logs, so, I didn't think this was a show-stopper. -jeff On 2024-07-18 5:35 p.m., Eli Adam wrote: > Hi Jeff, > > What is the purpose of matrix??
