[Geomoose-users] Printing PostGIS layer - error

Hi,

I turned the all error reporting on and found out that I forgot to copy the newly compiled mapscript.so with PostGIS support to the PHP's directory.
Anyways, we learn on mistakes. :)

Thanks and sorry for bothering,
Matej

  Matej,

Are you running the 1.6.X version of print.php or an earlier version?

I do not see line 255 as a saveImage, on mine the only saveImage call is on line 278.

Also can you post up the offending mapfile with the username/password redacted? That way we can get a little better idea what might be happening.

  Hello everyone,

I was finally able to solve that annoying encoding problem by getting all the data into the PostGIS database and selecting the appropriate client encoding - it works like a charm! :) Maybe this solution will help someone else.

But I have another problem now: When I am trying to print the layer, which has the CONNECTIONTYPE POSTGIS instead of CONNECTIONTYPE OGR, I get an error: Fatal error: Call to a member function saveImage() on a non-object in /userdir/web/php/print.php on line 255. When I hide that layer and print that view, it works like it should.

I can't find anything useful about this on the web and I will appreciate any ideas, so that I can get this web site public after all.

  Thanks,
  Matej Serc
