[Geomoose-users] Why won't this label layer output any labels

I figured out why my label layer wasn’t working, I had to add a STYLE section to the CLASS section in the map file.  I don’t know why it needed a style section but it works.  I didn’t need a style section because I didn’t want the points to plot they are on another layer.

Dan,

 

Mindistance is uncommented but when I comment that line, nothing happens.

What happens when you uncomment the mindistance?

Can anybody see why this map layer won’t output any labels, when it’s turned on?

 

Here is the code from my XML file:

 

<map title="mhol_label" default="false">

<file>./mhol_label/mhol_label.map</file>

</map>

 

I have other labels in my map the work but for some reason I can’t get this one to work?  I attached the shapefile to see if someone else could get this to work.
