Dah - use mapshape (with multipoint) instead of mapext and I can drop my mapserver query into geomoose.

Mmm, ok. I had the mapserver query set up with another app and thought I could just drop it into geomoose. I see you are passing multipoint to select.php. To define the mapext (for mapserver) I would need multipoint[0] and multipoint[2].

? isn't the information returned defined in the map file and associated html template?

Hey Brent,

I'm a little curious as to your motivation, what's select.php doing/not-doing that makes you want to use mapserver? Mapserver will also not necessarily return the correct information to GeoMOOSE to behave properly.

Greetings,
I would like to use select tool with /cgi-bin/mapserv (instead of php/select.php).

Using the state demo as a starting point, I figured I could take the identify tool and
1) switch shape="point" to shape="box"
2) replace <input type="point" name="mapxy" delim=" "/> with <input type="box" name="mapext" delim=" "/>

but generates the following mapserver error:

"loadForm(): Web application error. Not enough arguments for mapext."

Thanks,

Brent
