[Geomoose-users] Installing GeoMOOSE 2.2 for MS4W - Web Mercator Demo with MS4W

I just finished testing "GeoMOOSE 2.2 for MS4W - Web Mercator Demo" with MS4W 
Beta 10.  In general the test was successful (with a small hiccup with MS4W, see 
step 1 below).

My test configuration:

  - Windows XP Pro SP2 with IE 8
  - MS4W Beta 10
  - GeoMOOSE 2.2 for MS4W - Web Mercator Demo


The steps to install and test:

1. Install the "VC++ 2008 Redistributable Package":

2. Download, then unpack ms4w_3.0_beta10.zip into C:\
3. Download, then unpack GeoMOOSE-mercdemo-2.2-MS4W.zip into C:\
4. Open a command window and do:
	cd C:\ms4w
	apache-install.bat

5. Point your web browser  at http://localhost/geomoose2/geomoose.html

Hopefully the release version of MS4W 3 will not require step 1...
