Hi Greg,
Please try the following output format
OUTPUTFORMAT
NAME png
DRIVER 'AGG/PNG'
MIMETYPE 'image/png'
IMAGEMODE RGBA
EXTENSION 'PNG'
END
and then look at this page
http://mapserver.org/mapfile/symbology/construction.html
Always refresh your page after you've made your changes- this can be a little bit of a pain but its worth it. All the best.
Franz

I’m having the exact same issue. Single pixel highlights that are really hard to even notice.
By editing the highlight.map and can change the pixel color but adding a size entry has no effect. Could something override this file?
LAYER
NAME 'points'
TYPE POINT
STATUS DEFAULT
CLASS
COLOR 255 255 0
SIZE 10
END
END

Hello all,
\ms4w\apps\moosecache2\htdocs\php\itemquery\highlight.map
pls edit this mapfile. Read mapserver documentation and the mapfile section. to help you change the symbology etc.
All the best.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] How to control the highlighting of a point layer
I have a point layer that I have set up a query on. Whenever a query is run and results are found the highlighting of the points on the map is almost impossible to see. Does anyone know where I can control the highlighting of a point feature so I can make it easier to see?
Thank you very much for any help.
