[Geomoose-users] Access data outside "data" folder

Here is what my mapfile looks like:
LAYER
NAME 'HalfMeter2009'
STATUS ON
TYPE RASTER
PROJECTION
'init=EPSG:2913'
END
TILEINDEX './data/HalfMeter2009_Index'
TILEITEM 'LOCATION'
END
The TILEINDEX references a shapefile that indexes the images and has an
attribute named LOCATION that has the path to the images. I started to
go down the DBF catalog route but everything I found on Mapserver talked
about a shapfile index.
Here is what the LOCATION attribute looks like: E:/New
GIS/JeffCOGISDATA/Aerials/Jefferson/HalfMeter2009/44120-D7
I finally got it to work with these settings. I found an error in my
attribute location path string that was hanging it up.
Thanks for all the help,
Sean

Hi Sean
You could put in the full path to the data tag (removing the "." )
and/or add the SHAPEPATH tag to the map file.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] Access data outside "data" folder
I was just wondering if there is a way to access data outside the
'ms4w\apps\geomoose2\maps\data\' folder. I have imagery that I would
like to access via a TILEINDEX but I can only get to work if the imagery
is within the geomoose data folder. It would be nice to not have to
duplicate that many large files on my server.
Thanks,
Sean
