Brent,
I uncommented the reference to the Yahoo library and that fixed it.
Thank,
Ed

It sounds like the mapbook defines a Yahoo layer to be used, but the
geomoose.html has the reference to Yahoo library commented out. Either
remove the Yahoo layer and mapsource from the mapbook, or un-comment the
reference to the Yahoo API:
<script type="text/javascript" src=
<http://api.maps.yahoo.com/ajaxymap?v=3.0&appid=euzuro-openlayers>

Brent,
I reviewed the error console in Firefox and I keep getting "Variable not
defined YAHOO_MAP_REG", which is in compiled.js. I tried to comment out
that section but Firefox throws an error out for the VirtualEarth variables.

Ed,
Try Firebug to see the error when it loads and parses the mapbook. I can't
recall where it does that; somewhere in main.js?

Brent,
I checked through mapbook.xml and I didn't see anything missing a "[".
I checked the error console in, Firefox and one of the errors stated
"Warning: XUL box for _moz_generated_content_after element contained an
inline #text child, forcing all its children to be wrapped in a block.
Source File: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul"
Not sure if this has anything to do withit.
Is there anything else I can look at?

Sorry, to clarify...
I wanted to also use the mercator demo, but they told me to use the
"GeoMOOSE 2.4 for MS4W" demo, which I was able to get working.
In any case, I might want to use the mercator demo instead anyway... let me
know if you figure it out. I'm going to be updating the documentation on how
to install soon.

That usually means browser JavaScript can't load, or more likely can't
parse, the mapbook XML file. Check for missing brackets etc in the XML
file.

When I go to http:\\localhost <http://%5C%5Clocalhost> , I only get the
Geomoose Background but no layers or tools. I looked at the Apache error
logs and there are no errors.

Is there something I need to do to get the Web Mercator Demo working. I
just installed a fresh copy of MS4W 2.3.1 and Gemoose 2.4.
Thanks,
