It sounds like the mapbook defines a Yahoo layer to be used, but the
geomoose.html has the reference to Yahoo library commented out.  Either
remove the Yahoo layer and mapsource from the mapbook, or un-comment the
reference to the Yahoo API:

<http://api.maps.yahoo.com/ajaxymap?v=3.0&appid=euzuro-openlayers>
"http://api.maps.yahoo.com/ajaxymap?v=3.0&appid=euzuro-openlayers"></script>

Ed,

  Try Firebug to see the error when it loads and parses the mapbook. I can't
recall where it does that; somewhere in main.js?

Sorry, to clarify...

I wanted to also use the mercator demo, but they told me to use the
"GeoMOOSE 2.4 for MS4W" demo, which I was able to get working.

In any case, I might want to use the mercator demo instead anyway... let me
know if you figure it out. I'm going to be updating the documentation on how
to install soon.

parse, the mapbook XML file.  Check for missing brackets etc in the XML
file.
