Jim and I have been hard at work on the 2.4 release.

There are a number of bug fixes (probably more than I can reasonably remember)
however here are a few highlights:

1) Fix to measure tool when negative areas were involved.
2) Fix when using web mercator layers and switching between web mercator display
and "none."
3) New "geomoose.html" and "geomoose_dev.html". "geomoose.html" uses
compiled.js while "geomoose_dev.html" uses "all_php.js". This is to setup a
future model where we will use a dynamic Javascriprt loader in the "dev" which
will be much slower and for non-production use.
4) Printing scales have been fixed. The old "preserve" has been deprecated as
it was not working on some WMS services. Instead the user can choose to use the
current map scale or a selected printing scale. Administrators can configure
the available printing scales in the mapbook.
5) *** In trunk, the dbase dependency has been removed from select.php. *** The
new dependency works with MS4W and uses SQLite to create the necessary temporary
files to make select.php and mailing_labels.php function properly. This will
break your PHP 5.2.X installation unless you already have PDO/SQLite installed.
6) Multiple default configuration parameters have been reintegrated with the
mainline code for those doing custom installations not based on the demos.
7) "ajax_select" input type now works as per the docs.

We are looking for testers and feedback. Please post bugs that you find to the
mailing lists!
