[Geomoose-users] first impressions

Hi,
I'm investigating Web-mapping frameworks for a project and came across
GeoMoose which has a nice name and looks cool.

Unfortunately I have some concerns:

a) I can't for the life of me find a bug tracker. To graduate from the OGC
you must have one somewhere but its very well hidden. Usually this is on
the home page with a big "report bugs" button There's absolutely nothing on
the wiki for bug reporting either..

b) Looking at the web-page (geomoose.org), its clear that many parts of the
web-site are out of date or simply not working. There's no obvious way to
contact the project from there - it took several minutes of googling to
find the subscription to this mailing list. This page -
http://geomoose.org/info/mailing_lists.html - points to a 404. The wiki
points to a different page -
http://geomoose.org/wiki/index.php/Mailing_Lists - that also is a 404. :-S
A nice big obvious link somewhere on the home page should help get more
people into the community.

c) On a practical level, I'm concerned by the release schedule of GeoMOOSE;
namely there don't seem to have been any point releases (aka, bug fixes)
since 2.0.1. They're all major point releases which are about a year+
apart. That's a long time to wait for a bug-fix (I'm aware there are
nightlies, but obviously you don't use them on production).

There a lots of little things too, but as I don't want my first post to the
mailing list to be too negative, I'll stop here. :-)
