[Geomoose-users] identify layers that are turned off

You can make it work by getting a little sneaky- have the layer in your
application twice- one will be for display and will be in the TOC, but
not identifiable.  The other will be invisible, it will have transparent
symbology and should not appear in the TOC, but it will be identifiable.
That way, you can do what you're asking.

Hello,

 

Is it possible to always identify a particular layer even if it is
turned off in the catalog.  For example I would geomoose to always
identify the parcel layer, even if the layer is not displayed.
