[Geomoose-users] Identify displaying a link to a PDF

Within an identify template I have a link to a PDF, see below:

 

<td> <a href="file:\\\\\server\gis\client\[AB_PDF]"
target="_tab">[AB_PDF]</a></td>

 

When I click this link using IE9 it works as expected and opens the PDF in a
new tab but when I click this link using Chrome or FF 15 nothing happens.
How can I get this to work in Chrome or FF?
