[Geomoose-users] POSTGIS required for adding layers?

Jon,
Basically you have a 2 primary routes of adding your own data to GeoMoose.

1) You can consume a map layer as a service directly by GeoMoose (such as WMS, ESRI ArcServer, XYZ tiles, google, etc). There are limitations with some of these formats and you have to be able to publish your data as one of these.

2) You can use MapServer to publish your data as a service. MapServer supports a number of different types of data sources through GDAL/OGR. See http://mapserver.org/input/index.html
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] POSTGIS required for adding layers?

Hi guys,

Just one question for clarification. Is PostGis required for adding layers to Geomoose 2.6? Thanks.

Sincerely,
Jon
