[Geomoose-users] problem with Identify on Groups

OK, thanks. I'll probably have to work up a similar hack. Problem is, I don't want these layers to always identify, only when turned on.

Bob

I know this does not quite do it but I have an "IdentifyAll" service that just calls the identify.php. This allows me to identify specific layers from a "hard wired" button. Seems to work OK. Below is how I call the identify.php from my mapbook.xml

<service name="identifyall" title="IdentifyAll" display="false">
                        <url>php/identify.php</url>
                        <step type="spatial" name="shape" show-tools="false" line="false" polygon="false" jump-start="true" default="point">
                                    <!-- <input type="visiblelayers" name="layers"/> -->
                        <input type="hidden" name="layers" value="taxlot2012/taxlot2012:taxlot/PolkTaxlots:cityugb/all:compplan/all:taxcode/all:zoning/all:roads/Roads:fire/all:school/Schools:precinct/all:garbage/all:waterut/all:powerut/all:soils/all:flood/all:wetland/wetland:elevation/all" />
                        </step>
</service>

I did this in 2.4 and have not tested it in 2.6.

There are docs on how to identify one or more specific layers,
http://geomoose.org/howto/identify.html#forcing-identify-to-always-identify-a-specific-layer
