Thank you a lot! It seems that re-installing a different version of the application solved this problem.

Also, try loading the application in a more useful browser such as
Chrome or Firefox.  That can help diagnose these mystery errors.  But
Jim is right, something is malformed with the mapbook since the
catalog is not loading.
