The GeoNode 2.4.x branch should use the geoserver-geonode-ext 2.4.x branch
using the 2.7-SNAPSHOT version of GeoServer.
I also propose to get the occasion of releasing a GeoNode 2.4.1 using
GeoServer 2.7.5. Not only because the GeoServer 2.7.5 will be release in
few days, but also because there are some very important fix and
improvements that we should include in this release. In particular:
- GeoNode fix for this https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/issues/2337
- GeoServer fix for the Importer which is not thread-safe on the 2.7.4
release
Moreover the GeoNode master should be switched to GeoServer 2.8-SNAPSHOT.
About this, who is responsible for the releases of GeoGig plugins? I can
also volunteer onm this, but I need access and also some pointers on how to
work on those projects that I don't know right now.
