[GeoNode-devel] Remote Services

Hi devs,
I would like to know more about the Remote Services in GeoNode.

Referring to GNIP16
<https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/wiki/GNIP-16---Remote-Services> and
pull #1408 <https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/pull/1408> by Jeffrey, I
wonder if someone is working on this functionality.

In particular I am interested in harvesting CSW catalogs.
It is possible to register a CSW catalog but is it also possible to list
and search all the content in GeoNode? How should be managed a pure list of
layers without an associated WxS in GeoNode?

Please let me know if there is an open discussion or documentation.
