[GeoNode-devel] Broken geoserver-geonode-build

Dear All,
JDBC Config is not used by default in GS at this stage, it is a
community extension.
We used in some set ups and I am pretty sure Boundless does use it as
well but the point is that it is not in widespread use yet.
Isn't it a bit risky to move it to default use in GeoNode, if that's
what's been done here?
Aside, the build is failing because community extensions are not
deployed by the GeoServer nightly build (we only deploy releases).
I believe that if this is the direction we want to take (mind you, I
am not against it, I am just questioning a bit the lack of discussion
:) ) we should first proposed to make this a first class extension in
GeoServer land
so we have 100% guarantee that this extension will be maintained over time.
Looking forward to reading your feedback.
Regards,
Simone Giannecchini
