[GeoNode-devel] Broken geoserver-geonode-build

In the past, we have made use of extensions in GeoNode even if they were
just community modules in GeoServer.
I agree with Simone, though, if we ever plan on getting to a vanilla
geoserver we should try to move towards having important modules be
accepted first in GeoServer and not enable them by default in our build.
I'll be more catious with the trigger in the future. Daniel, I believe we
can let users drop in the JDBC config jar in the right folder in the
future, the only problem is helping them figure out which artifact is
compatible with GeoNode, the easiest way to get around this is to build the
GeoNode extensions as part of the geoserver community infrastructure, so
that if you find one, the other lives next to it.
