[GeoNode-devel] Upgrade to GeoServer 2.9

Alessio,

I would think an issue and PR would be sufficient. We should add what new
features or changes are included though.

regarding the following

We sure can, Erik Merkle is currently researching the level of effort for
GeoGig 2.9.x extension. This would be great if we could include this in the
GeoNode 2.5 release. Would you like to schedule a time to discuss?
