Good afternoon, everyone.

As mentioned in the "Save the Date" below, the World Food Programme (WFP)
Headquarters GIS Unit will be hosting the 2016 GeoNode Summit from November
28 to December 2 in Rome, Italy.  We'll discuss current work and the future
of the platform, including both program management staff and developers.

below.  The RSVPs will be used for size estimates and developing the

Good afternoon, everyone.

The World Food Programme (WFP) Headquarters GIS Unit is pleased to announce
we'll be hosting the 2016 GeoNode Summit from November 28 to December 2 in
Rome, Italy.  At the Summit, we'll aim to have an open conversation with
program management staff and developers on the evolution of the platform.
Save the date!

The exact agenda and schedule is still to be determined.  We'll have a
diverse and valuable experience for all attendees.  It's been an exciting
year, so we'll have much to talk about!  Additionally, depending on the
number of participants we could have multiple tracks.

We'll also be looking at exploring linkages with other opensource efforts.

More information to come.  Hope to see you in late November!
