Backup & Restore GeoNode - Data Migration</a> requires Geoserver >=2.9, but Geonode 2.4 has Geoserver 2.7.<o:p></o:p></p>

said</a> it is ok to restore a 2.4 database into a 2.6 one because the data model has no breaking changes.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">So do I need to create a Geonode 2.6, restore the data from 2.4 to 2.6, then backup from 2.6 and restore to 2.10?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If so, what’s the best way to create a 2.6 site just for this purpose? Seems there’s no PPA now so I can’t use apt. I’m trying a development install, but running into problems with the paver Geoserver installer.<o:p></o:p></p>
