I developed a customization upon version "2.6.1" (customization from a <br>

but it's quite old and now I need to upgrade the base GeoNode version <br>
it's based on,<br>
but since I'm expecting upgrading not to be easy, I would like to avoid <br>
having to do it more than once<br>
in a short time.<br>

I also read a few discussions about branches and versions naming for <br>
Python 3/Django 2,<br>
but I don't know which GeoNode version, if any, is actually based upon <br>
Python 3/Django 2<br>
and if it is already good to use for production, or not.<br>

Is the choice only between 2.8.x and 2.10.x?<br>
What are the diferences between them, is 2.10.x more "advanced" than <br>
"2.8.x"?<br>
Is "2.10.x" already ready for production (or will it be soon enough)?<br>
