We don't have a specific date yet but we rally hope it will be within a
couple of months.

Unfortunately there is no such permission options in 2.0.1, only in 2.4.
You can install the 2.4 on another server and start using it. We will not
change the data model behind it so the upgrades to the stable should run
smoothly. Consider though that the 2.4 beta installer (apt-get) is for
ubuntu 14.04.
