Hi John?
I love the idea of using of using MapProxy in place of GeoServer to
collect remote services.
Though we still need the user interface to let the user to pick the
service she/he wants to collect from a (maybe very long) list of
exposed layers.

thanks for pointing out the ticket, we would definitely need to have a
GNIP for it
