[GeoNode-users] Using GeoNode users to connect to Geoserver by Opengeo Suite QGIS Plugin

I would like to allow users GeoNode could interact and change styles of the
layers using the plugin Opengeo Suite Explorer for QGIS.
I can make the plugin to connect to the Geoserver GeoNode using the admin
user (the geoserver), but using a common user GeoNode, you can not.
Is there any solution for this, perhaps changing the stored procedure
"geonode_authorize_layer"?
