I've inserted my google key too and can only confirm the issue.
I'm not able to understand where'ste problem maybe the url in
gxp.plugins.GoogleSource (https://www.google.com/jsapi?) is not valid anymore?
I've tried with https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js? but i doesn'te work
