[GeoNode-users] Error Updating Ip

Hi Paolo

Thanks for your help, I checked and one layer had the incorrect ows_url field which I’ve updated to match the rest.

This appears to have had the desired effect for that one layer (Which is an external cascading wms layer) however it hasn’t worked for the layers which are stored on geoserver

These layers are still being loaded from geonode.magnitudesurveys.com even though the ows_url field for these layers is gis.magnitudesurveys.com as shown below:

It appears that the url parameter in layar_params_text is overriding the ows_url field

I’m not particularly strong on postgres commands so I’m not sure how to automatically change the values. It also appears that the keys are still loading from geonode.magnitudesurveys.com

After looking at your screenshot, it looks to me that updatemaplayerip did not work properly for all layers (not sure why).

Is the ows_url field correctly updated in the maps_maplayer table?
You can check with:

select ows_url from maps_maplayer;

Oh I was not aware that updateip is also changing SITEURL in settings, good to know.
Did the updatelayers command within geonode.updateip also completed successfully?
