[geos-devel] Error with buffer function of GEOS

Hello,
I have installed the GEOS software for the extension of the postgis
functions (OGC functions). sources: cvs builds (postgis and geos) of
yesterday
All of them work properly, except the buffer function.
If I try to call this function I get the following error:

select buffer(the_geom,1) from bahnhof;
ERROR:  GEOS buffer() threw an error!

Any idea of the reason?
Where can I get more details about the error?
