[geos-devel] Exception Issues

Hrm. My PostgreSQL installation compiles with the following flags only. I fear 
we'll still have stack unwinding problems without a patch to PostgreSQL as 
well. What versions of gcc support -fexceptions I wonder?

-O2 -g -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations
