That's great news about getting GEOS to work with PostGIS. Excellent work, guys!
I agree with the tasks... I'd say removing the debug information is task 1 (or actually, wrapping it in a #ifdef DEBUG might be better). Memory management is more critical, but a whole lot more time-consuming. Note to follow on that...
