[geos-devel] Problem compiling geos on Gentoo Linux

Hi,

I am trying to compile it on gentoo (kernel 2.6) and I couldn't succeed...

I get that error when I make geos (2.1.0) :
./configure: line 8673: syntax error near unexpected token 'long'
./configure: line 8673: 'PGAC_TYPE_64BIT_INT' (long int)

I found that error in a couple of forums, but no clue to solve it. Is it 
a version problem ? Or did I miss something ?

I use :
- automake 1.8.3
- autoconf 2.13
- libtoolize 1.4.3
- gcc 3.3.3
