[geos-devel] configure error: no c compiler

hey,

i just downloaded GEOS to work with PostGIS - PostgreSQL and use cygwin o do
so
using the install guide i tried to configure geos-2.1.0 and got following
error: "configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH"

the mentioned config.log doesn't tell me much since there are a lot of path
mentioned

i downloaded the compiler SDCC but don't know what to do


please help me
