I think ultimately a web page or two would be more user friendly than source code. I 
can comment more when I port the MapServer GEOS integration code to C. No big deal, 
now that I know where to look. I would suggest being explicit on the web page that does
exist about what is available.

Thanks for making that avenue (the C-API) available.

The documentation is embedded in the geos_c.h header file.
An example of usage can be found in source/capi/geostest.c
