[geos-devel] Towards GEOS 3.0.0

Hi,

the 3.0.x branch in general covers some important improvements and 
GEOS 3.0.0rc4 is out for a while now. What are the outstanding issues 
preventing the release of GEOS 3.0.0? What has to be done to overcome 
these issues?
