[geos-devel] Union problem

Thanks Ari.  I think I may be using an older version of GEOS. VantagePoint is a cheesy desktop tool I'm building for emergency responders. I really appreciate your help. I will try RC4 and see if that fixes the problem.

I tried this with GEOS 3 RC4 (from Perl and through GDAL) and it works 
fine. The border between US and Mexico disappears :)

What's VantagePoint? Maybe it's using old GEOS or otherwise doing 
something wrong?
