[geos-devel] Binary predicate shortcuts

Neither GEOS nor JTS checks for identical geometries as input to the 
predicates.

What's your use case for this?  At first glance it doesn't seem like it 
would be a major source of performance loss.

You could always check for this in your wrapper..  8^)
