[geos-devel] Having geos 3.0.0 and 2.2.3 installed side by side

Hi

I'm trying to install both geos 3.0.0 and 2.2.3 side by side but am
running into problems. I need to keep 2.2.3 as it is needed by the
matplotlib basemap toolkit - it doesn't work with 3.0.0.

Does anyone know of a way to have both versions of geos installed at
the same time, without having to heavily patch the source code?
