Hi Regina,
        The GEOS' Version I used is "3.1.0". Today, I use
GEOSEnvelop("LINESTRING(1 3,1 6)") again, what a pity, it don't return the
result like what you said. In my program, the result is "POLYGON ((1  3, 1
3, 1  6, 1  6, 1 3))". So I want to ask you which version of GEOS are you
using?
