With no SVN backup, you mean ?
No more trac->changeset reference (r### won't be enough) ?
It's a pity to loose that kind of support.
I'd be happier with an OSGEO solution.

Anyway, if you are willing to spend some time on it, a GEOS organization
and a better imported history (with proper authorship and branches ?) would
be worth a try.
