Hi all users of GEOS,

GEOS 3.8.0 has been released!

http://download.osgeo.org/geos/geos-3.8.0.tar.bz2

This is a performance and internals release, primarily, that has
ported many improvements in from JTS, added arbitrary precision
support to improve operation robustness, modernized the use of C++
idiom in much of the code base, and applied numerous performance
improvements, both algorithmic from JTS and in the C++ implementation
practices.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed!

Please report any issues you find in building or running tests on the
GEOS ticket tracker https://trac.osgeo.org/geos/ or to this list.
