FYI all, it's all green on CI and merged to master.
What does this mean?
Nothing, it's there and has tests and works, but no production code paths run through the new overlay code yet.
Next step will be adding some compile-time options to substitute the old overlay code with the new, so we can test underneath things like PostGIS etc.
Folks interested in rolling their own can look at the "areaDelta" method in XMLTester for a call point that uses all the new magic (standard overlay, followed by snapped overlay in case of failure, followed by snap-rounded overlay in case of yet more failure).
If you are interested in snaprounded overlay, look at the "intersectionng" op in XMLTester.
