On the GitHub repo, modify the "About" description using the Web
interface (https://stackoverflow.com/a/21649064/).

Currently gitea has: Official GEOS git repository http://geos.osgeo.org
And GitHub has: Geometry Engine, Open Source [MIRROR]

A suggested "About" would be the same as the first line from README.md:
> GEOS is a C++11 library for performing operations on two-dimensional vector geometries

(or without "C++11", as that's a distraction for C API users)
