 The syntax reported by {{{ geosop }}} is not very clear, and it's typical
 to just try syntaxes and be guided by errors. Instead geosop happily
 aborts dumping cores whenever wrong syntax is used.

 This ticket is to try at catching as many invocation errors as possible.
