It would be a bit easier to distribute my application if it worked with 
a released version of geotiff.  As it stands, I'll need to either refer 
users to CVS or include a tarball of it in the distro.  This is OK, and 
I understand why you might be reluctant to cut a revision just for my 
minor change, but it sure would be convenient.  :)
