The {{NetcdfImageReader}} currently available in Geotk-pending is strongly dependent on {{GeographicMetadataFormat}}, which was the old framework under development during GeoTools days. This framework was prior the emergence of ISO 19115-2 and ISO 19129, and is now replaced by {{SpatialMetadataFormat}}. The {{NetcdfImageReader}} will need to be updated accordingly. Once ready, it should migrate to Geotk (non-pending).
